Prudent on Winning Team in District 5 Open End Award

(Philadelphia, PA) Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDot) has designated the firms to be responsible for construction inspection duties on an “Open End” agreement in District 5, which covers Monroe, Carbon, Schuylkill, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton Counties in Eastern Pennsylvania. Prudent Engineering is a subconsultant to KCI Engineering. The Agreement may include roadway and bridge construction projects.

Staffing for the project will include: Coatings Inspector (CI); Transportation Assistant (TA); Transportation Construction Inspector (TCI); Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS); and Transportation Construction Manager (TCM). Staffing assignments will be determined on an assignment by assignment basis.

The designated firms will be responsible for construction inspection; project recordkeeping; payment estimates to the contractor; and compliance with labor standards safety and accident prevention.

The first assignments are anticipated to begin in September 2016.
